Do you have military or law enforcement experience
If you have served in the Canadian Forces or RCMP, we have opportunities for you, no matter where you live. Commissionaires has been providing rewarding employment to former members of the Canadian Forces and RCMP for more than 80 years.
Are you a student
Commissionaires is looking for outstanding students and young people to join our team. Get flexible shifts that can work with your school schedule, either full or part time.
Are you 55+
Not ready to retire? Commissionaires is looking for mature individuals. Supplement your pension and meet new people with a full or part-time position with Commissionaires.
None of the above
Not all commissionaires are former law enforcement or military professionals. Commissionaires is always looking for responsible team members for general employment. To join you must be fluent in both written and spoken English. Bilingualism is always an asset and sometimes a requirement. Ideally, you possess an excellent employment record and above average customer service skills.
Becoming Security Licenced
To work as a security guard you must obtain a security licence according to the Security Guard act, officially known as PSISA 2005 (Bill 159).
The requirements to obtain a security license from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services Ministry include:
- The submission of an application for a licence to act as a s security guard under PSISA, 2005;
- Passport-quality photographs available at our locations;
- Annual licensing fee of $80.
