Many of our commissionaires also have memberships in other organizations such as the Canadian Society for Industrial Security Inc. (CSIS) and the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). These professional organizations are dedicated to developing high standards of education and training for security personnel.
ISO
Commissionaires is the only security organization in Canada to have every office across Canada certified to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards ISO 9001:2008 and is audited annually to ensure these standards are maintained.
This certification is your assurance about the quality, safety and reliability of our services.
The International Organization for Standardization is a network of national standards institutes from over 160 countries working in partnership with international organizations, governments, industry, business and consumer representatives. It serves as a bridge between public and private sectors to assure clients about the conformity, quality, safety and reliability of our services.

CGSB
Since 1979, the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) has delivered independent certification and qualification programs. Our CGSB certification is your assurance that we are committed to quality, that the goods and services we provide will perform as expected every time and meet standards and requirements as set by CGSB.
CSIS
The Canadian Society for Industrial Security Inc. (CSIS) is a professional organization for persons engaged in security in Canada. It provides the impetus for developing high standards for security education and training programs for security professionals. Our membership provides us with access to industry best practices.
ASIS
Commissionaires Great Lakes management team maintain membership in the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). Our team of security consultants have received Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation through the American Society for Industrial Security. The CPP is rapidly becoming the virtual gold seal of approval in security solutions and best business practices. This rigorous process of accreditation has meant there are only 5,600 recipients with this designation worldwide since the program began in 1977.
